About Kip Wells
Kip Wells, a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1999 to 2012, found early success at Elkins High School in southwest Houston, where he helped lead the Knights to a state championship. He then pitched for Baylor University before being drafted in the first round by the Chicago White Sox.
Wells’ career took him around the country, playing for nine teams: Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, Washington Nationals, Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres. Over the course of his career, he accumulated a total of 1,338 innings pitched.
Professional training early on in his life ensured Wells’ successful career, and he is passionate about extending that opportunity to today’s amateur athletes. Wells intends to offer his unique knowledge of the game to the serious athlete with a team of professional trainers and analysts, matching talented players with scouts and recruiters.
Under Wells’ leadership, the organization aims to be an athlete’s coaching partner over the long term, developing their talent through high school, college and perhaps to the major leagues.
